If you're 18 or older and enjoy reading comic books and graphic novels from publishers like Vertigo and Fantagraphics, come to the inaugural meeting of Not Just for Kids Anymore, the Washington Park Comic Book & Graphic Novel Book Club on Tuesday, September 15, in the Small Meeting Room at Washington Park Library. Our first read will be Fables, Vol. 1: Legends in Exile by Bill Willingham and Lan Medina. Future selections will be determined by the group. Please note: This is not a group for children, as the books that will be read in this group are the equivalent of "Rated R" movies.

Welcome to the official blog for all things Sweet Tooth!

It will be your place to check out all the latest news and reviews on my new monthly Vertigo series, Sweet Tooth.

In addition, every month, on the day a new Issue comes out, I will post exclusive, never before seen pencils, inks, design and developmental work for that issue!

I will also be commissioning a bunch of my cartoonist friends to create Sweet Tooth inspired artwork, and posting it here along with reader sketches! That's right, if you send me any of your artwork depicting Sweet Tooth characters I will post it on the new blog as well.

I also miss the old letter columns in comics, so I will be using The Sweet Tooth blog to post your letters as well.

Behind The Panels: Sweet Tooth #1

This will be the first of a regular installment of behind the scenes lokks at each Issue of Sweet Tooth. I will post new bonus material the day each new issue is shipped to comic book stores.

So, to start off here are pencils and then final colored art for the first 5 pages of Sweet Tooth #1 followed by a few preliminary cover designs.
